An Irish woman has been making hyper-realistic dolls of newborns.

While pregnant with her first child, Glenda Ewart discovered the art of doll sculpting while searching online for baby clothing.

Multiple coats of paint are required to recreate the mottled look of a newborn’s skin.

After the paint is cured in the oven, the process of carefully implanting more than 20,000 strands of fine mohair into the scalp of the doll begins.

The dolls are then sold to buyers around the world. Typical buyers request a recreation of their own newborn as a long-term memento.

Creepy or cute ??
