Joni Sternbach, uses 19th century’s techniques, such as wet plate Collodion process ( tintype, ambrotrype, negative) to make this series of portraits of Contemporary surfers.
The collodion process was the first widely used photographic process that produced a negative image on a transparent photographic medium.
